Dr.Mary Smitha is a renowned physician from India with deep knowledge in Ayurveda treatments and medicine. Dr.Mary Smitha passed the Bachelor of Ayurveda and Surgery; degree (five and a half year duration) from Govt.Ayurveda College, Tripunithura in Kerala. She has a wide experience of 18 years with various Ayurveda organizations and institutions in India.

During the past five years Dr.Mary Smitha was the chief physician of Naivedya Ayurveda Hospital(2006-2011). She was the personal Ayurvedic physician of the Cardinal and Auxiliary bishop of Ernakulam diocese during this period. Dr.Mary Smitha is an expert in all Ayurvedic treatments and Panchakarma treatments.

Dr.Mary Smitha was the faculty in Sahyadri Institute of Ayurveda affiliated to Indira Gandhi Open University. She gave training to young physicians and Therapists in this institution. Dr.Mary Smitha is a Yoga trainer with international certificate from Shivananda Yoga Ashram, Trivandrum. She also takes classes in Nritya Yoga, which is a combination of dance and yoga.

Dr.Mary Smitha has worked with Ayurveda groups like Cochin Aryavaidyasala and S.D Pharmacy.She was also in charge of Ayurveda Spa; in Taj Gateway Hotel, Ernakulam. Dr.Mary Smitha was invited as guest speaker in many organizations like Y’smen, Rotary and Senior Citizens Association.She has also taken part in T.V shows about Ayurveda; in B.B.C -2 and ITV.

Dr.Mary Smitha was working in Golden Kiwi Ayurveda Centre, Auckland as consultant physician. She is currently the Director and Ayurveda consultant in Ayurveda Jyoti Wellness Centre, Auckland. Dr.Mary Smitha is a registered member of The NewZealand Ayurvedic Association and The Natural Health Practitioners NewZealand.
